The Wedding

It's all in the details! Below you’ll find everything you need to know about our wedding day, with the full schedule of celebrations. From the ceremony through to the evening festivities, we’ve laid everything out to make sure you don’t miss a single moment. We hope you're all as excited for this as we are!
The Ceremony
3PM - 4PM
Please join us for our wedding ceremony at the Sanctuary, a small chapel floating on the lake at La Roche Estate, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
ARRIVAL FROM 2:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive no later than 2:30 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.
We have arranged shuttles to collect guests from designated pick-up points in Franschhoek and transport you directly to the ceremony on the day.
Cocktails and Canapes
4PM - 6PM
After the ceremony, the shuttles will be waiting to transfer everyone to the Lawns for a relaxed afternoon of mingling in the sun, with incredible vineyard views.
Expect smooth jazz music, delicious canapés and flowing Graham Beck MCC, our favourite South African bubbly. We’ll also have a few signature cocktails at the ready, along with plenty of cold beer and soft drinks.
Reception
6PM - 9PM
As the sun sets, we’ll move into the Festival Hall for the evening reception. This part of the celebration will include a seated dinner, speeches from a few rather important people, and plenty of good food and wine to enjoy together.
The formalities will wrap up with the cutting of the cake, followed by our first dance, as newlyweds.
Dance The Night Away
9PM - 2AM
Once the first dance is over, it’s time to truly let loose. Our live band will keep the dance floor going until 2:00 AM, and to keep energy levels high, there’ll be a gelato cart and late-night snacks, along with espresso martinis for anyone needing a pick-me-up.
The Bacchus Lounge bar will remain open all night for beer, wine, and spirits (shots available for purchase on request). When the music wraps up at 2:00 AM, shuttles will be waiting to return guests to their accommodation in Franschhoek.
Shuttles
2PM - 2AM
To ensure everyone can celebrate safely and without the stress of having to drive, shuttles will run to and from the venue throughout the day. Guests will be collected from designated pick-up points in Franschhoek (TBC) and transported directly to the venue.
Following the ceremony, shuttles will transfer guests from The Sanctuary to The Lawns for cocktails and canapés. From 10:00 PM until the final dance at 2:00 AM, return shuttles will run at regular intervals to take guests back to their accommodation in Franschhoek.
If you will be driving to the venue on the day, there is ample parking space at both The Sanctuary and The Festival Hall.
